The hotel is in a nice location by the river, close to Fremantle, with a view down the river. The rooms are clean and well thought out, though a mirror over the desk in the lounge area would have been useful. The service was fantastic and very helpful, but the lack of a bar, lounge, or restaurant on-site could be inconvenient. The dining experience was good, with great choices, but prices could be more competitive. Overall, a comfortable stay with friendly staff and some minor room improvement suggestions.
I had a memorable stay at the hotel, especially as we celebrated our joint 50th birthdays with a lovely handwritten card in our very nice room overlooking the beach. The lack of air conditioning was a downside, but the overall experience was delightful.
